Asa Munger 'ironing board' mirror clock. Figured mahogany case with applied carved columns in original finish.

This Asa Munger Mirror Clock has the original 'crystalized' metal dial surround (popular as a decorative device, made by acid etching zinc) and original white painted dial & hands.

Original Asa Munger label and wallpaper lined interior. Original eight day weight driven time/strike brass movement with second hand. Weights replaced.

Written on the back of the clock is: Wedding present to Clark S. Woodruff (born 14 January 1814) And his wife Julia Drummond (born 21 December 1828) Gift of the father & mother of Clark S. Woodruff, who were Benjamin Woodruff (born 12 June 1778 and died 15 September 1860) Sarah Cleveland (born 1781 died June 15 1851)
