Cherry Armoire

Cherry armoire French, with two doors and gently arched top. This cherry armoire has the most wonderful deep glow. This cherry armoire has single panels on each door.

There are vine and floral carvings on face and skirt of the cherry armoire with lovely brass hinges and key escutcheons also grace this cherry armoire.

The cherry armoire is circa 1800.

The shelf inside has been restored with a new sturdy shelf put in for a large TV.

This cherry armoire is an example of one of those situations that everything lines up: great wood, form, carving and the polishing. The cherry armoire shows the loving use over the years that has produced a lustrous patina with deep red highlights of the 200 year old cherry!
