No. B
Reproduction Windsor single side chair with stick or all spindle back with turned legs. The seat is carved out of a single plank the same as the originals. This chair has a Crinoline stretcher (the curved stretcher was an extra option on period chairs that allowed room for crinoline skirts). This chair is in Ash wood, in the Yew color finish which is a warm amber color. These chairs are made for us in an old 19th century brick factory building in a small town in rural England. They are made completely by hand in the same meticulous method used for 300 years and almost as much time is spent making the 'surface' correct. They tend to be somewhat larger with seats so well carved that they're very comfortable (We refer to them as 2 hour chairs rather than 15 minute chairs). These chairs have been previously available in sycamore as well, which is now discontinued. The sycamore chairs in stock will be the end of that variation.
