Wedgwood Pitcher

No. A15869

Wedgwood red ware pitcher with glazed interior.

This antique jug has Greek key, dots and other slender bands of cream or white decoration.

It is clearly marked on the bottom.

We currently have two and they are sold separately.

Un-glazed pitchers, when the exterior of wet, will evaporate and keep the contents chilled.

The inside is glazed so the liquid inside the pitcher won't penetrate the pottery.

This shape is often considered for ale.
